During her appearance on MBC’s “Radio Star” on May 15th, Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young shared her recent experience visiting SM Entertainment’s building for Girls’ Generation’s 15th debut anniversary project. Tiffany recounted feeling unfamiliar with the surroundings, even having to pay parking fees and buy coffee at the SM cafe.

Tiffany explained, “I already left the company and only returned there to prepare and practice for Girls’ Generation’s anniversary project. It felt strange, and the parking lot situation was awkward.” She expressed surprise at being asked to pay parking fees, saying, “When I left after practice, they told me I had to pay for it. Didn’t they buy the building thanks to us?”

She also mentioned visiting the SM cafe and feeling taken aback by having to pay for coffee, considering her 13-year tenure with the company. Tiffany’s comments highlighted the treatment of former SM artists and sparked discussions about how they are perceived after leaving the company.

Tiffany’s experiences echo those of Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, who recently discussed paying parking fees at SM during a visit to Super Junior’s practice. Kyuhyun later clarified his comments, revealing that even employees at SM must pay for parking due to the building’s rental arrangement.
