On May 25, iconic K-pop group VIXX commemorated their 13th anniversary, a milestone that reflects over a decade of artistry, fandom, and perseverance.

Current members N (Cha Hak Yeon), Leo, Ken, and Hyuk marked the occasion with a warm group photo, posted by N on social media with the caption:

“Already 13 years. Thank you, thank you so much.”

Since their debut on May 24, 2012, VIXX has made a name as “concept idols” known for their theatrical storytelling, earning praise with hits like “Chained Up,” “Shangri-La,” “Error,” and “Scentist.”

Notably Missing: Ravi and Hongbin

While fans were touched by the strong bond among the remaining four, the absence of Ravi and Hongbin did not go unnoticed:nnRavi, who left the group in the wake of a military evasion scandal, was convicted for conspiring to fake a medical diagnosis (epilepsy) to avoid conscription.

Though he received a suspended sentence, he publicly apologized, admitting his actions stemmed from financial pressure during the COVID-19 pandemic:

“I sincerely apologize… I will live with a heart of repentance for the rest of my life.”

Hongbin exited VIXX in 2020 after controversy surrounding his livestream remarks, and has since stayed out of group activities.

A Bond That Endures

Despite the departures, VIXX’s core four members continue to show unity. Fans filled social media with emotional messages like:

“Happy 13th anniversary! Let’s walk together for a long time.”

“Your sincerity really shines through. This is so moving.”

Legacy and Looking Ahead

With a history defined by dark, elegant concepts and intricate performances, VIXX remains a fan-favorite among K-pop veterans.

Their 13-year milestone is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and fan loyalty.

As they move forward, fans hope for new music, more group activities, and continued growth from each member—while always honoring the journey that brought them here.
