The global K-pop sensation ATEEZ is preparing for a major return to the Japanese music scene this summer.

On May 13, 2026, their agency, KQ Entertainment, alongside their Japanese official site, announced that the group will be releasing their fifth Japanese single on July 29, 2026.

This news has created a wave of excitement among ATINY (the group’s official fandom), as it marks their first local release in approximately ten months, following the record-breaking success of their second full-length Japanese album, Ashes to Light, which dropped in September 2025.

According to the official announcement:

“ATEEZ’s fifth Japanese single is set to be released on July 29, and pre-orders have officially opened as of May 13.”

While the specific title of the single remains under wraps, the group has already unveiled promotional imagery that suggests a sophisticated and mature concept.

The teaser photos feature the members in a striking combination of red and black styling, exuding a refined charisma that has become a trademark of the octet- Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho.

The upcoming single will be available in several formats, including limited editions and a special “ATINY Edition” exclusive to fan club members, which includes a 40-page photobook and exclusive random photocards.

A Journey to Yokohama: “ATINY’s Voyage”

In conjunction with the new music release, ATEEZ will be connecting with their fans through a massive fan meeting event titled 2026 ATEEZ FANMEETING <ATINY’S : MYSTERY TINY VOYAGE>.

Following a three-day stint in Seoul in July, the group will head to Japan for a spectacular three-day event at the K-Arena Yokohama from August 4 to August 6, 2026.

The agency described the theme of the fan meeting as a way for the group and fans to build special, inexplicable memories together, stating,

“The moments shared with fans are a full-fledged episode in themselves, building a unique mystery that only ATEEZ and ATINY can solve.”

The Yokohama event is expected to be a high-production affair, with special perks announced for fan club members, including the opportunity to win invitations to a rehearsal viewing for those who pre-order the new single.

This fan meeting comes on the heels of their successful world tour, IN YOUR FANTASY, which saw them perform to sold-out crowds in major Japanese cities like Saitama, Nagoya, and Kobe.

For many fans, the August dates at K-Arena Yokohama are a highly anticipated opportunity to see the members perform the new single live for the first time in a more intimate, fan-centric setting compared to a standard concert tour.

Dominating the Mid-2026 K-Pop Landscape

ATEEZ’s continuous activity in Japan is part of a broader strategy that has seen them rise to the top of the local charts.

Their previous full-length album, Ashes to Light, set a new personal record for first-week sales in Japan, solidifying their status as a “K-pop powerhouse” in the region.

Beyond their Japanese promotions, the group remains a force on the global stage, with their recent Korean project ARIRANG (released earlier in 2026) continuing to perform well on international charts and earning high-tier certifications.

The announcement of the new single and Yokohama fan meeting arrives alongside a flurry of other major K-pop news, including the recent confirmation that BTS will headline the 2026 World Cup Final Halftime Show and the debut of HYBE’s new girl group, Saint Satine.

As ATEEZ prepares for their July and August schedules, they are also nominated for “Best Male K-Pop Artist” at the 2026 American Music Awards, highlighting their global reach.

With the pre-order period now in full swing and the Yokohama event quickly approaching, the agency has urged fans to “Stay tuned for more updates!” regarding the official single title and the specific setlist for the fan meeting voyage.
