Jung Ju Yeon Reveals Brief Marriage Split and Reconciliation With Husband After Seven Months

Last updated:

South Korean actress Jung Ju Yeon reportedly separated from her husband only seven months after their wedding, according to reports by E-Daily. The actress married her non-celebrity partner, who is said to be older than her, in March 2023. However, the couple parted ways by October of the same year after experiencing differences in personality.

Although they held a wedding ceremony, the two never officially registered their marriage, making the separation less complicated legally. Reports also suggested that the couple had already been considering separation even before the wedding took place.

The separation was kept private initially and was finalized through mutual agreement in October 2023. Later, in October 2024, Jung opened up about the situation on the variety show Dongchimi, revealing that she had packed her belongings and temporarily moved back to her parents’ home after news of the breakup surfaced. However, the story did not end there. After spending several months apart, the actress and her husband eventually reconciled and are now back together.

Jung Ju Yeon began her career appearing in Wannabe in 2009 and later gained recognition through dramas such as Stormy Lovers, Princess Aurora, and City of the Sun. She has also appeared in films including Twenty and The Cursed Lesson. Most recently, she starred in the drama Red Swan alongside Kim Ha Neul and Rain.
