The National Police Agency has announced swift action in response to the complaint filed by HYBE against CEO Min Hee-jin, as reported during a regular press conference in Seoul’s Seodaemun-gu on May 13th.

HYBE, the entertainment company behind BTS, accused CEO Min of breach of duty, alleging that she orchestrated a plan to take over ADOR’s management rights. HYBE claims to possess specific statements and evidence supporting these accusations.

In response, CEO Min held a press conference on April 25th to vehemently deny all allegations, setting the stage for a continued dispute between the parties involved.

Min Hee-jin, CEO of ADOR, holds a press conference addressing allegations against her amid the ADOR-HYBE conflict.

The ongoing conflict has prompted ADOR, where CEO Min serves as the CEO, to schedule an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on May 31st. During this meeting, the motion for CEO Min’s dismissal is expected to be a central topic of discussion. With HYBE owning 80% of ADOR’s shares, the outcome of the dismissal motion is anticipated to align with HYBE’s interests.

Meanwhile, CEO Min has taken legal action by filing an application for a preliminary injunction against HYBE’s exercise of voting rights in the Seoul Central District Court on May 7th. A critical hearing for this matter is slated for May 17th, where the court’s decision will likely influence the outcome of CEO Min’s potential dismissal.
