WEi’s agency has released an official statement addressing the future participation of members Kim Yo Han and Jang Dae Hyeon in the group’s upcoming activities.

On November 18, OUI Entertainment shared an update explaining that both members will have limited involvement in WEi’s group promotions moving forward due to individual schedules and commitments. The announcement clarifies that the adjustments are connected to Jang Dae Hyeon’s upcoming military service preparations and Kim Yo Han’s next acting project.

According to the agency, Jang Dae Hyeon is preparing to fulfill South Korea’s mandatory military service requirement in 2026. As a result, the idol will gradually reduce his group schedule beginning in January.

While he will still remain part of WEi’s activities for the time being, his participation will be limited specifically to pre-arranged domestic engagements. This means that although he will still appear in certain official events and activities that were coordinated in advance, his presence in broader promotions may become less frequent as he focuses on preparing for enlistment.

OUI Entertainment also clarified that Jang Dae Hyeon will continue to participate in previously scheduled events without interruption.

These include fan signing events tied to WEi’s eighth mini album “Wonderland,” as well as the group’s release events planned in Japan. The agency emphasized that these activities will proceed normally before his participation becomes more restricted next year.

Meanwhile, Kim Yo Han will also see changes to his participation in group promotions, though for a different reason. The idol-actor is currently preparing for his next acting project, which requires him to shift his focus toward his acting career.

As a result, Kim Yo Han will take part in WEi’s scheduled activities only until the group completes its Beijing schedule on December 8. After that date, he will temporarily step away from group activities while concentrating on his upcoming drama project.

Despite the upcoming adjustments, both members will continue participating fully in WEi’s current promotional schedules until their respective transition points. The agency noted that more detailed information regarding Jang Dae Hyeon’s military enlistment timeline and Kim Yo Han’s next acting project will be shared in a separate announcement at a later date.

OUI Entertainment concluded by asking for understanding and continued support from WEi’s fans, known as RUi.
