Announced via his agency Fantagio, this comeback represents a significant evolution in MJ’s artistic path, highlighting his transition into a fully realized singer-songwriter.
By actively participating in the album’s concept creation, lyrical composition, and melodic arrangements, MJ presents a deeply personal project infused with his signature bright, refreshing vocal style and witty emotional expression.
While MJ previously launched his official solo career in 2021 with the trot-infused digital single “Happy Virus” featuring the lead track “Get Set Yo,” “Right..?” marks his first solo release in physical album format.
The title carries an inner question- asking “I’m right…?”- which sets up the thematic direction of the album: navigating love, self-doubt, and lighthearted emotional honesty through dynamic musical genres.

MJ took a hands-on approach to the production of “Right..?”, taking charge of the core concepts, songwriting, and composing for the project.

Title Track – “1~10, 1 minute ago (I stopped at 9)”: Built on an energetic, cheerful rock foundation, this lead single explores the clumsy feelings of unrequited love.
MJ devised the witty concept of using “1-10” to symbolize message read receipts (“read” status converted into numbers).
The track follows the narrator attempting to rationalize rejection by claiming “I didn’t like you either,” only to immediately turn around and reach out again with refreshing, high-energy vocals.
B-Side Track – “I’ve Been” (ただいま): Offering a warmer contrast to the rock title track, this acoustic-textured song delicately depicts the sweet excitement permeating familiar scenery on the walk home from work.
